Israel’s Attacks on Gaza and the West Bank Coincide with Ramadan
Israel, violating the ceasefire, continues to bomb Gaza even during the month of Ramadan. The country’s army has launched intense attacks on the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.
The violation of the ceasefire by Israel, which had been in effect since October 2025, is ongoing. According to eyewitnesses, Israeli warplanes have carried out extensive airstrikes on the eastern neighborhoods of Gaza City, while simultaneously, artillery fire has targeted the surrounding areas.
Israeli forces have fired flares towards the eastern parts of the Shujaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City and have carried out at least two airstrikes on the cities of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip. Additionally, the Mawasi area west of Rafah has been targeted by artillery fire.
The Gaza Ministry of Health issued a statement announcing that in the past 24 hours, two people have been killed and four wounded as a result of Israeli attacks. With these figures, the total casualties from Israeli military attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 2023 have reached 72,069 killed and 171,728 wounded.
