Erdoğan: Black Box Found, Investigations Continue
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that the black box of the crashed military cargo plane has been recovered and the bodies of 19 soldiers who lost their lives in the incident have been identified. He emphasized that detailed examinations are ongoing to clarify all aspects of the tragedy.
Speaking on Wednesday at a meeting of the Justice and Development Party (AK Party) in Ankara, Erdoğan said: “The black box of our aircraft has been found and the investigation process has begun.”
He added: “The bodies of 19 of our martyrs have been recovered, and search operations to locate the remaining remains are continuing.”
The Turkish President stressed that field operations are being closely monitored, noting: “Once the investigations are completed, all dimensions of this incident will be revealed.”
Erdoğan also stated that the Ministry of National Defense and the Directorate of Communications are regularly informing the public and will continue to do so.
It should be noted that yesterday a Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft, flying from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkey, crashed on the Georgia–Azerbaijan border.
